Surfing provided him with the opportunity to travel the world, meet new people, and learn about new cultures and lifestyles; it was an incredible educational experience. It taught Sean how to relate and connect with people, which has been the key to his business success.
Sean has had a fascinating career working in advertising and marketing for over thirty years. Early on, he worked for large corporations such as Cox Communications, Emmis Communications, and DHL Express. He was the Managing Director of the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing, known as the “Super Bowl of Surfing,” for eleven years. Managing a multi-million dollar production budget that included a live television broadcast and live webcast with over 10 million viewers worldwide, Sean and his team grew the Vans Triple Crown into the largest action sports event in the world.
